Bob Schachte Joins Mitchell International as Senior Vice President of North American Sales

SAN DIEGO -- Mitchell International has announced that Bob Schachte has joined their organization in the newly created position of senior vice president of North American Sales.

Schachte comes to Mitchell with an extensive background in information software and e-business solution sales for the automotive industry. Prior to joining Mitchell, Schachte served in a number of senior management roles at Reynolds & Reynolds, the leading provider of integrated information management solutions in the automotive retailing marketplace.

"Bob brings a wealth of experience in leading successful sales efforts," said Todd Mavis, Mitchell's executive vice president of sales, service, product management and marketing. "Bob's leadership, coupled with the outstanding sales team we already have in place, position Mitchell for an outstanding 2001."

In his new role at Mitchell, Schachte will provide direction to Mitchell's sales team. He will be responsible for overseeing the execution of Mitchell's overall North American sales plan and for further accelerating Mitchell's sales growth.

Most recently, Schachte was vice president and general manager of automotive application services for Reynolds & Reynolds', and prior to that served as the company's division vice president of sales for the automotive group. In these roles, he led initiatives in the development of Reynolds & Reynolds e-business strategy and managed a $200 million segment of their sales organization with responsibility for more than 150 sales people. Schachte's background also includes extensive experience in marketing, strategic planning and product management.
