Business Tools | Friday February 2 BASF Appoints Timothy P. Andree Head Of Corporate Communications for North American OperationMOUNT OLIVE, N.J. -- BASF Corporation has appointed Timothy P. Andree as Vice President of Corporate Communications effective February 1, 2001, replacing James H. Murphy who will retire after 12 years of dedicated service. Andree will be responsible for directing the advertising, marketing services, public affairs, media relations, employee communications, and community affairs activities for BASF in North America. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Andree spent two years pursuing a career in professional basketball. He joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 1985 where he worked in Japan and in New York at the North American Headquarters holding posts in Overseas Planning, International Public Affairs and External Affairs. In 1998, he was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Corporate Communications at Canon USA in New York.
