ABRA Auto Body & Glass Hires Steve W. Brown as Auto Glass Marketing Manager for Wisconsin Market

MINNEAPOLIS -- ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, has named Steve W. Brown as Auto Glass Marketing Manager for the Wisconsin area. Brown will be in charge of sales and marketing of auto glass services to area insurance agents and representatives.

When asked why the position was created at this time, Dave Doherty, Director of ABRA's Glass Division, responded: "ABRA is dedicated to working very closely with our insurance partners to guarantee their insureds receive a high-quality and secure glass repair. We have an incredible story to tell about our safety, training and professionalism, and believe that Steve is the one to spread the story for us."

Brown, a 13-year veteran of the auto glass service industry, was most recently an Insurance Account Representative/Manager with another Wisconsin area auto glass company. Asked why he joined ABRA, Brown stated, "ABRA has a great respect for the integrity of the damaged vehicle repair industry. I have always admired the company and their management, and feel fortunate to be given the chance to add my skills and talent to ABRA's continued growth. By calling on the insurance community, my goal is to increase auto glass services sales by 20 to 30 percent over the next two years."

Brown is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Physical Education. He and his wife Karen live in Madison, WI.

"We are expecting significant growth from our Wisconsin Glass operation over the next several years," continued Doherty, "and we feel Steve is up to the challenge of bringing us to the next level."

ABRA Auto Body & Glass has grown to sixty-seven facilities in ten states.
