Response Insurance New Entry on New York State's Top-20 List of Auto Insurers
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Response Insurance, a direct-to-the-consumer auto insurance company focusing on insuring safe, responsible drivers, scored better than many of the household name insurers as measured by their complaint ratio, according to the New York State Insurance Department.
A relative newcomer to the field of nearly 52 auto insurers in the state, Response ranked number nineteen, well ahead of Allstate, which is the largest insurer in the state, but ranked near the bottom at number 48 of the 52 companies officially rated by the Insurance Department. Response also beat out other household names, such as State Farm (number 23), GEICO (number 27) and Progressive (number 24).
"I couldn't be prouder," stated Mory Katz, Chairman of Response Insurance. "I believe we have the best team of employees in the business. We beat the competition hands down. I don't know of any other insurance company that is as customer-friendly, efficient or reliable."
Response Insurance, which has been selling via the phone since 1997, is also now offering consumers real-time on-line quotes and the power to fully complete transactions on a live basis.
