eAutoclaims.com Drops Its "dot-com"

PALM HARBOR, Fla. -- eAutoclaims.com has announced that the company will operate under a new name starting immediately, foregoing the dot-com ending.

"The board of directors and management feel the new economy has become better defined and our organization can best be described as an eCommerce provider, not a dot-com," stated Eric Seidel, President and CEO. "The company has long struggled with the classification of a dot-com considering how much of our services rely on our state-of-the art processing & call center and staff of professional Repair Coordinators, Customer Service Reps. & Physical Damage Auditors. The company's back room has always been part of the added value we bring to our clients, in addition to the Internet claims solutions we provide."

eAutoClaims provides clients with online applications to manage their claims and connects the user with the company's national network of 2,300 body shops and 4,100 auto glass repair providers. The company has recently expanded its Internet application to connect other service providers, such as Independent Adjusting service with service partner IADA and rental car service with Alamo Car Rentals. The company's basic philosophy of service is to "audit every line of every estimate."
