Business Tools | Wednesday April 18 CEI and AutoVista Complete Pilot and Sign ContractMacon, Georgia -- CEI President Wayne Smolda has announced the successful completion of a pilot program utilizing AutoVista Claims and the Phase I rollout to CEI's Direct Repair Network®. The trial was conducted with CollisonMax repair facilities that are a division of CSI Holdings, an affiliate of CEI. AutoVista Claims is a product of the AutoVista Network, a full service provider of end-to-end e-business solutions for the automotive repair industry. The complete rollout to all of CEI's network providers is expected to be implemented throughout 2001. "We are very pleased with the wide range of capabilities that AutoVista Claims provides," stated CEI President Wayne Smolda. "The AutoVista technology is easy to use and was quickly customized to our specific requirements. This technology allows processing of repair estimates along with images and supplements over the Internet regardless of what estimating system is used by the repair facility. The users in the CollisionMax facilities found AutoVista Claims very easy to set up. They were online with little modification and training and use of AutoVista Claims made doing business more efficient and effective," Smolda added. "The recently completed pilot program and Phase I national rollout with CEI is part of our plan for implementing AutoVista Claims throughout the collision repair industry," stated Richard Palmer III, Vice President and General Manager of AutoVista. Because of the success of the pilot program and Phase I rollout, Smolda further announced that CEI has signed a contract with AutoVista Network to provide CEI with an Internet hosting capability for providing Internet connectivity among their nine Collision Max service centers and with their entire business community across the United States. CEI intends to integrate the AutoVista solution with their claims management systems, ClaimsLink2000 and IntelliClaim, innovative applications that were developed exclusively by CEI's technologists.
