Business Tools | Friday May 4 Ford Plans No Immediate New AcquisitionsFord Motor Co. has no immediate plans for any further acquisitions, saying recent growth had been sufficient. "At this stage we are not thinking of any new acquisitions because we think we have grown sufficiently," Ford President and Chief Executive Jacques Nasser told reporters at an opening ceremony for a $650 million plant in western Turkey. Nasser said the company planned to concentrate energies on its Hertz car rental division, which it recently finished buying.
