ATLANTA, Ga.– Bridium (formerly Cyber-ASP), an application developer of claims workflow solutions for the property and casualty insurance industry, today announced an agreement with Scene Genesis, Inc., a leading software developer and application service provider (ASP) to the P&C industry. The agreement enables Bridium’s claims workflow application, Claims3 (formerly ClaimsXL), to offer added task management and digital information gathering functionality, which will be provided by Scene Genesis’ proprietary technology, Scene Access.Net.
By combining the strengths of both products, Claims3 and Scene Genesis, claims adjusters will now have a comprehensive solution that allows them to automatically request and receive appraisals and estimates, while allocating tasks to inspectors and independent adjusters across the country.
“With Scene Genesis, claims adjusters will experience an added level of performance and reliability as well as enhanced product functionality,” said Ramesh Natarajan, chief technology officer for Claims3. “By combining the workflow capabilities of Claims3 with SceneAccess.Net’s assignment capabilities, we are offering a more complete range of Internet-based services to our customers,” he added.
“Claims3 provides SceneAccess.net with access to an established customer base in the property and automotive insurance sectors,” said John W. Blake, Jr., Scene Genesis president. “We can offer these customers an added level of communication and increased claim resolution speed by simplifying the appraisal assignment task. The combination of technology will allow everyone involved in the claim process to share information in a more timely manner and close claims faster – resulting in a boost to end-user satisfaction,” he added.
Bridium is an operating company of CyberStarts, a technology holding company that focuses on B2B financial services and infrastructure opportunities. Claims3, Bridium’s proprietary product, permits adjusters to manage fully imaged claim files in real time and integrate information from third party sources. Claims3 complements – not replaces – the claims administrator’s existing claims system, allowing the administrator to enhance the current system without the large upfront investment associated with typical system upgrades.
