ADP Claims Solutions Group Achieves Designation of I-CAR Gold Class Professionals

SAN RAMON, Calif. -- ADP Claims Solutions Group has achieved the highest form of recognition for collision repair training that a company can obtain from the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR).

I-CAR's Gold Class Professional training requirements were completed by ADP's database development group last week. The courses in the program are the industry standard for automotive collision repair and are identical to the curriculum presented to collision repair technicians and insurance professionals throughout North America.

More than 50 ADP employees participated in more than 2,800 hours of educational training that focused on all aspects of collision repair.

"We made a commitment to this training because we felt it would make our associates more aware of the wide range of challenges confronted by our customers and their technicians," said Michael Banton, director of database operations for San Ramon-based ADP Claims Solutions Group.

"Our group has done an outstanding job to complete the program and achieving this professional designation illustrates our serious dedication toward the continuing goal of delivering world-class service."

ADP Claims Solutions Group becomes the second ADP subsidiary to achieve I-CAR's Gold Class Professional designation. ADP Hollander's Interchange research team also completed the program in 2000 and 2001, and it is preparing to do the same in 2002.

The ADP Hollander Interchange forms the common trading language among automotive recyclers, and is also growing in use by car collectors and restorers, collision repair facilities and insurance companies.

With headquarters in San Ramon, ADP Claims Solutions Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Automatic Data Processing Inc., one of the largest independent computing services firms in the world.

ADP CSG provides the property and casualty industry and their business partners with integrated and independent information services for automotive, medical and property claims management in 18 countries.
