Caliber Collision Centers Opens Newly Constructed State-of-the-Art Facility in San Antonio

IRVINE, Calif. -- Caliber Collision Centers has announced the opening of a newly constructed state-of-the-art collision repair center in San Antonio, Texas.

This advanced production repair facility further expands Caliber's position as the largest collision repair provider in San Antonio, with six centers operating in the area, including the recently opened Caliber Express location which specializes in the repair of light to moderately damaged vehicles.

According to Caliber's president and chief operations officer, Bill Lawrence, the new 32,000 square-foot facility was designed to achieve the highest level of productivity and customer satisfaction, reflecting the company's commitment to providing insurers and vehicle owners with high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective vehicle repair.

"We are very excited to announce the completion of this extraordinary repair facility," said Lawrence. "This center has been designed, equipped and staffed to reduce the cost and time associated with quality collision repair. The workflow of the IH-10 production plant and our rapid repair process facilitate the triaging of damaged vehicles based on repair complexity. This enables us to direct a damaged vehicle to the repair department best staffed, skilled and equipped for the job at hand, resulting in the high-quality repair and on-time delivery that exceeds our clients' and customers' expectations."

"The production area layout and our selection of high-tech repair equipment were coordinated to ensure both repair quality and maximum efficiency," said Doug Boazman, Caliber's senior vice president of operations. "Vehicle owners and our insurance clients will both benefit from the reduced cycle time this new facility and its well-trained staff will deliver."

Founded in 1991, Caliber currently owns and operates 58 facilities in California and Texas and plans to continue acquiring, developing and integrating high-volume collision repair centers while providing innovative collision repair solutions and automobile physical damage claims support.
