GM Launches National Advertising Campaign

Grand Blanc, Mich. -- General Motors Service Parts Operations (SPO) has announced the launch of a national advertising trade campaign recognizing the craftsmanship of the body shop repair technicians and the quality of genuine GM Parts. The campaign emphasizes the partnership between GM and collision repairers with the themeline: "Your craftsmanship. Our parts. Together it's a work of art."

"Our message throughout this campaign is that when the technician's craftsmanship is combined with the fit and finish of genuine GM Parts, we believe it provides an opportunity for a vehicle repair to be a work of art," says Michael Henk, GM Collision Parts communications specialist at SPO.

General Motors offers a complete line of genuine GM Parts specifically designed, engineered, and tested for GM vehicles. "One of the most important variables in a quality collision repair is the repair technicians craftsmanship," says Henk. "That craftsmanship can be fully realized when combined with the quality of genuine GM Parts."

The multimedia advertising campaign is planned to run for eighteen months and feature several variations of print and display ads.

"Whether restoring an old favorite or repairing a newer vehicle genuine GM Parts provide dependability, durability, and a quality fit and finish," according to Henk.
