Mitchell International Names Alex Sun New Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

SAN DIEGO -- Mitchell International has announced that Alex Sun has been appointed to the posts of executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for the operations of Mitchell's Financial and Legal departments.

Sun joins Mitchell from ABC Technologies Inc. in Portland, Ore., where he had been the chief financial officer and vice president, finance and administration. While there, Alex managed the Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal and Operations functions of the company. Prior to ABC, he was a vice president within the Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. During his years at Merrill Lynch, Alex provided corporate finance and strategic advisory services to a wide range of financial services companies.

"Alex's extensive background in Finance, Operations and Investment Banking make him an excellent choice to provide the financial leadership and strategic vision that will be critical to Mitchell's continued revenue growth and profitability," said Jim Lindner, president, chief executive officer, and Chairman of the Board.

Sun received his BA degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
