Valspar Announces Appointment of Corporate Officer
MINNEAPOLIS -- Coatings manufacturer The Valspar Corporation has announced the appointment of Lori Walker -- Controller, to Corporate Vice President and Controller effective June 13, 2001.
Lori joined Valspar on April 3, 2000 as Assistant Controller. She was appointed as the Controller on November 1, 2001.
Prior to joining Valspar, Lori held a number of financial management positions at Honeywell Inc. These positions most recently included: Director Global Financial Risk Management; Controller, Home and Building Control; and Controller, Air Transport Systems.
Lori continues to be responsible for all corporate accounting functions including General Accounting, Planning/Reporting, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Payroll and Credit and Collection.
