AAA Selects OnStation Corporation to Supply Online Automotive Customer Management Software

SAN FRANCISCO -- OnStation Corporation has announced that AAA, the largest motoring organization in North America, has selected OnStation as its provider of Internet-based repair management tools to help vehicle owners and repair facilities improve repair experiences. The OnStation Extended Enterprise Platform will connect participating AAA clubs, 6,900 repair facilities and 44 million AAA members through a common software platform for improved communication, information sharing and process management.

The multi-year agreement calls for OnStation to integrate its customer relationship management (CRM) applications into the AAA Web site at www.aaa.com/ to improve the automotive maintenance experience for AAA members and to enable AAA's approved automotive repair facilities to elevate customer retention and repeat sales levels through enhanced customer service.

AAA will use the OnStation Customer Manager(TM) to enable AAA members to diagnose potential vehicle problems, locate approved automotive repair facilities and review detailed information about each approved automotive repair facility. In addition, AAA members will have access to online tools that help them manage their maintenance and repair needs over the life of their vehicle ownership. AAA members can schedule and track service appointments, maintain vehicle service records uploaded from repair facilities, review detailed service recommendations and maintain finance and insurance information.

"Adding OnStation's relationship management software platform to our existing online services will enrich the automotive experience for our members. These new services will allow AAA members to take control of their servicing needs and make informed decisions about vehicle maintenance and repair," said Marshall L. Doney, vice president of AAA Automotive Services. "OnStation has been a great technology partner to work with on these strategic initiatives, and we look forward to our long-term relationship."

AAA will also provide OnStation's Customer Connect(TM) to the AAA network of over 6,900 repair facilities, including 1700 OEM dealer facilities, enabling repair facilities to improve communication and provide a higher level of customer service. With Customer Connect, repair facilities will be able to receive and manage online service appointments, create and send customized maintenance recommendations and service promotions, and distribute customer service surveys.

"We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to work with AAA, the leading advocate for the motoring public," said Charlie Moore, OnStation's chief executive officer. "Our Extended Enterprise Platform will help AAA maximize their relationships with their members and repair facilities, and increase the already high value of AAA membership."

As North America's leading motoring and travel organization, AAA provides its nearly 44 million members with travel, insurance, financial, and automotive-related services. Since its founding in 1902, the not-for-profit, fully tax-paying AAA has been a leader and advocate for the safety and security of all travelers.

OnStation Corporation is based in San Francisco, with offices in Los Angeles and Cleveland.
