Travelers to Resume Writing New Commercial Auto and Umbrella Business in Ohio

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Travelers Insurance announced it will re-enter the Ohio insurance marketplace for new commercial auto and umbrella business with the enactment of the "Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Availability Act of 2001."

Peter Higgins, Chief Underwriting Officer, Travelers Commercial Lines, said, "We are delighted that we have been able to maintain a viable renewal market in Ohio, but are even more pleased that we can now actively solicit new commercial auto and umbrella business.
