Payless Car Rental Expanding Locations to Major Markets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Payless Car Rental System, Inc. announced they have signed contracts for over 10 new franchise locations in several of the top major markets in the U.S. The franchise openings in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, Detroit, Miami Beach, Nashville and Puerto Rico are part of Payless Car Rental's aggressive development plan to double the number of worldwide locations by the end of 2002.

"We are expanding both domestically and internationally and are in final negotiations for an additional 30 franchise openings in Italy and the UK," said Mike Harley, chief operating officer of Payless Car Rental. "Many of our new franchises are located in major international airports offering travelers convenience and easy access to great deals on car rentals."
