Planet Salvage Appoints John Leach CEO and Charles Lukens President and COO

LENEXA, Kansas -- Planet Salvage, Inc. has announced the appointment of John Leach, Chairman of the Board, as its Chief Executive Officer. Leach's significant experience and vision within the automotive parts replacement market positions Planet Salvage, Inc. for anticipated explosive growth.

Launched in June 2000, Planet Salvage, Inc. is an on-line automotive recycled parts fulfillment network. The company's business model, via the Internet, connects buyers with live sellers to bid for their business in a nationwide online market.

Planet Salvage, Inc. also announces the appointment of Charles Lukens as the President and Chief Operating Officer. Lukens has been with the company since inception in the role of Vice President -- Sales and Marketing. He will lead the company's efforts, among other exciting initiatives, into the insurance market place where the increased use of recycled auto parts will reduce loss ratios dramatically.

Finally, Tom Gegax, founder and former Chairman of Tires Plus, has joined the Board of Directors. In addition to his career in the automotive repair market place, Gegax is a renowned author, motivational speaker and management expert.
