"We have made this gift on behalf of our more than 30,000 employees and agents across the country who have expressed their desire to help in the relief efforts," said Nationwide Chief Executive Officer W.G. "Our hearts go out to the families of the victims of this terrible tragedy, and we believe the American Red Cross is in the best position to identify and fulfill the needs of those who have suffered." This second contribution has been made in a single gift. In addition, Nationwide employees continue their long-standing tradition of blood donation in all Nationwide locations, including the Nationwide corporate donor center, which has extended its hours to accommodate current demand.
