Business Tools | Friday October 5 Rome Technologies' CompleteShop Integrates With Reynolds and Reynolds' ERA Retail Management SystemDAYTON, Ohio -- The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has announced the completion of the interface between Reynolds' ERA automotive retail management system and Rome Technologies' CompleteShop collision repair management software package. This follows Rome Technologies' completion of Reynolds' Performance Path(TM) Data Access Certification Program. The program integrates third party applications with ERA while using industry standard utilities designed to keep the auto retailer's information safe and secure. CompleteShop was the first solution to market as part of the certification program. "This program puts more power in the hands of auto retailers by streamlining the flow of information that is critical to managing their dealerships," said Michael McNeil, Reynolds Chief Privacy Officer and vice president of Data Services. "The certified solution offered by Rome Technologies establishes a unique and efficient channel for data integration that will deliver our auto retailing customers an entirely new level of information access." Rome Technologies' CompleteShop software includes a full range of reporting capabilities and functionality necessary for dealership body shops to maximize cycle time and profitability. "This joint project with Reynolds empowers automotive retailers with an arsenal of data management tools equal to that of independent collision repair shops," said Scott Rome, founder and developer of Rome Technologies' CompleteShop. "We're excited about bringing CompleteShop into the auto retailing environment through Reynolds' industry-leading ERA system." For a third party to become certified, Reynolds tests, evaluates and then certifies access to and from Reynolds' solutions. The Data Access Certification Program is one piece of Reynolds' Performance Path, a suite of services designed to provide auto retailers with expanded access to new networking and retailing solutions. ©2000 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED INSIGHT Supports the NABC! |
