Business Tools | Wednesday December 5 Boyd Group Adds 12th Alberta LocationWinnipeg, Manitoba -- The Boyd Group Inc. has announced that it has opened its 12th Alberta collision repair facility, located in the Douglasdale Auto Centre in Calgary, Alberta. According to Pat Chassie, Boyd's Regional Vice President, Operations, "This new collision repair facility will compliment our existing Alberta operations and will further enhance our ability to service our insurance company partners in the Calgary market." When combined with existing operations, this new facility is expected to increase Boyd's overall annualized sales to approximately $146 million (Cdn), of which approximately 65 percent will be derived from U.S. operations. With the addition of the Douglasdale location, Boyd now operates 65 company owned and eight licensed locations in Canada and the U.S. It is the largest operator of collision repair shops in Canada and is among the largest in North America, recently estimated to be approximately $40 billion in annual revenue. The Boyd Group is one of more than fifty investee companies of the Crocus Investment Fund.
