Insurance Auto Auctions Announces Opening of Greenfield Facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., a provider of automotive salvage and claims processing services in the United States, has announced the opening of a greenfield facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The new 20-acre facility located in Byron Center, Michigan, will service Grand Rapids, all of Western Michigan, and Northern Indiana. It provides IAA with enhanced service coverage within the state of Michigan by leveraging a well-established location in Detroit. The new facility also improves IAA's regional coverage, complementing other existing Midwest facilities located in Wisconsin and Illinois.

"We are pleased to announce the opening of our new facility in Grand Rapids, as it allows us to further penetrate key growth markets in the state of Michigan," said Tom O'Brien, Chief Executive Officer. "In the future, we will continue to strategically target new areas for growth that can leverage existing operations."

Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., founded in 1982, currently has 62 sites across the United States.
