BASF Appoints Tim Fitzpatrick Director of Media Relations for North American Operation

MOUNT OLIVE, N.J. -- BASF Corporation has appointed Tim Fitzpatrick as Director of Media Relations.

"Tim is a welcome addition to our team. His role will be to help us to effectively communicate BASF Corporation's market-leading achievements in creating customer value through innovation and cost leadership, in protecting the environment, safety and health, and in social responsibility," said Timothy P. Andree, Vice President of Corporate Communications, BASF Corporation.

Fitzpatrick joins BASF Corporation from Philadelphia-based CDI Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Corporate Communications. He previously served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Metromail Corporation and in several communications and public affairs capacities with Ameritech Corporation and Bell Communications Research (Bellcore). Earlier, Fitzpatrick was a newspaper reporter for The Vindicator in Youngstown, Ohio. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Youngstown State University, where he also served as an adjunct instructor of journalism.
