Planet Salvage Launches New Website with Improved Functionality and Services

LENEXA, Kan. -- Planet Salvage, Inc., an online marketplace for the automotive recycled parts and salvage vehicle industries, has announced that the company publicly launched their new website with improved functionality and services. The new website, which was recently introduced in its alpha version at the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE), includes their two key product offerings PartsNetwork and AuctionsNetwork. The new site includes a completely new design and new architecture, which, according to Planet Salvage, not only improves the site usability and accommodates enhanced functionality, but also allows Planet Salvage to integrate its solutions with third-party claims administrators, estimating software providers, and Internet claims service providers.

"Implementing this new state-of-the-art website gives us the flexibility and capacity to seamlessly integrate with our customer's business requirements and processes," said Brian Randall, Chief Information Officer at Planet Salvage. "Our new technology allows us to meet the specific needs of our key stakeholders; insurance companies, collision repair centers and recyclers, and transform our website into a more professional, easy-to-use business tool."

Charles Lukens, President at Planet Salvage said, "The launch of our new site architecture clearly demonstrates our evolution to a comprehensive online procurement solution. It also shows our commitment to listening to our customers and modifying and upgrading our solutions to accommodate their business needs. This new architecture represents the successful business model that meets the needs of the recycled parts and salvage vehicle industries."
