Peter Hunt joins MVRA as Field Operations Manager

Peter Hunt, previously Chief Motor Engineer for Eagle Star and Zurich, is joining the Motor Vehicle Repairers' Association (MVRA) as its Field Operations Manager.

As Field Operations Manager Peter will have direct responsibility for the MVRA's 14 member team of field staff. His main focus will be the support, co-ordination and monitoring of the work of the field force and he will also be overseeing the introduction of some new initiatives that have been designed to improve the effectiveness of the field force.

Peter Hunt commented, "The MVRA is an exciting and dynamic organization and I'm very pleased to be joining it. 2002 looks set to be a key year in the MVRA's history and I am sure that I'll be able to make a real and positive contribution to its work.

"My aim is to enhance the work of the field team by giving then the regular support and feedback that we all need to fulfil our potential. My ultimate objective is to oversee a membership that is 100% satisfied with the support we give - and although I know this is quite a target I do think it's attainable and I'm looking forward to be being part of the team that achieves it!"

Mike Monaghan, Managing Director of the MVRA, said, "Obviously we are all delighted to have Peter on board. He brings a wealth of experience and a detailed understanding of the repair industry with him, both of which will greatly contribute to the field force's effectiveness and success.

"The MVRA is committed to supporting our members in whatever ways we can - for example we offer regular visits, frequent inspections to ensure all members maintain our membership criteria, marketing help and health and safety input. Peter's appointment is in line with our strategy of supporting, retaining and increasing our membership. With Peter at the helm of the field force I am confident his target will be met and I'm looking forward to welcoming him on to the staff and to working with him."
