OEConnection Teams up with Nissan

RICHFIELD, Ohio and GARDENA, Calif. -- OEConnection, LLC, the provider of automotive eCommerce parts and service solutions created by DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Bell & Howell, has announced a new relationship with Nissan North America, Inc.

Nissan and Infiniti dealerships and their wholesale parts buying customers will soon have access to OEConnection's suite of eCommerce products. OEConnection's solutions will help streamline the parts procurement process by improving communications, order management, and the specification of Genuine Nissan Parts. These benefits will initially come from CollisionLink(TM) (patent pending), which enables collision shops to electronically submit parts orders to their parts supplying Nissan and Infiniti dealerships.

"Consistent with the strategy to improve dealer and customer satisfaction while growing our parts business, we're delighted to work with OEConnection in providing our dealers with software tools that will improve the parts ordering and procurement process," said William Bosley, Vice President, Customer Service, Nissan North America, Inc.

"We are extremely pleased to partner with Nissan and Infiniti to deploy eCommerce solutions that will help enhance parts department efficiency and sell more Genuine Nissan parts," stated Chuck Rotuno, President & Chief Executive Officer of OEConnection. "OEConnection's vision of becoming a source for all original equipment parts, procurement, and service information continues to become a reality," continued Rotuno.

CollisionLink(TM) scrubs collision parts information for accuracy and completeness, enabling dealerships to respond more quickly and comprehensively in providing parts for collision repairs. CollisionLink(TM) will be demonstrated at the upcoming National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) tradeshow.
