On the site, users can find information on the founding of DuPont, the people who have helped bring "the miracles of science" to the world, and the history of a variety of DuPont products and services. "The Heritage site is the ultimate one-stop destination for learning about our company, its rich heritage and its 200 years of science and innovation," said Kathleen H. Forte, vice president - DuPont Global Public Affairs. "Visitors can browse the site for facts and history by year, by a specific person, product or invention." Visitors to the site can scroll horizontally to explore an interactive timeline that begins in 1802 with company founder E. I. du Pont and highlights 80 milestones of the company's first two centuries. Clicking on any one of them will reveal a short overview of the subject matter. More in-depth essays and a list of other related sources accompany the subject giving the reader the option to delve deeper into a given area.
