TKY Industrial Approved for MQVP

Troy, MI. -- Global Validators, Inc. has announced that TKY has been approved as an MQVP manufacturer. With this approval, TKY has sponsored 260 of their sheet metal part numbers for acceptance into the Manufacturers' Qualification and Validation Program (MQVP). Parts will be available for purchase from participating MQVP distributors, including the 'cradle to grave' traceability file known as GOCERTS, in 60 to 90 days.

"TKY is the first sheet metal producer to qualify under MQVP rigorous quality standards," said Steve Huang, Sales Director. "We have implemented the process and procedure changes necessary to meet the strict quality requirements. We have made these improvements to better serve our collision repair customers. We recognize our customer's demands for quality parts, traceability records and swift problem resolution. We meet those demands by qualifying and participating in MQVP."

According to Ron Ritchie, President of Global Validators, Inc., the administrators of MQVP, "TKY has made significant investments to achieve MQVP approval. They have worked closely with their registrar to achieve QS-9000 registration including design responsibility and MQVP compliance. They have worked diligently to establish GOCERTS legacy files for each part manufactured. GOCERTS files identify not only the part but every component and raw material that makes the part perform 'equal to or better than OE'."

"Body shop operators should be reminded to ask for a GOCERTS certificate when ordering a MQVP approved part for repair claims of participating insurance companies," said Jim Bender, Vice President of Global Validators. "If your distributor cannot provide a GOCERTS certificate, the quality or its installation on the vehicle cannot be verified. It is the GOCERTS tracking process that gives you confidence in the quality of the part delivered to your door."

TKY Industrial is a QS-9000 registered manufacturer of aftermarket sheet metal parts of which select hoods, fenders and tailgates have been submitted for MQVP approval. TKY has successfully completed a Due Diligence Review by Global Validators, Inc. and has been approved for participation in MQVP.
