CSi Complete Athlete to Run Marathon for Camp Mak-A-Dream

In an effort to help the collision repair industry raise funds for a children's hospital at Camp Mak-A-Dream, CSi Complete's Erich Keller will run the Columbus Marathon October 20, 2002.

The hospital will help allow young cancer patients to continue to receive treatment while attending the Montana-based camp, an essential element to their recovery and survival. Camp Mak-A-Dream is a fundraising project of the National Auto Body Council (NABC).

CSi Complete will sponsor Keller in the race, and 100 percent of all donations will go to Camp Mak-A-Dream. CSi Complete will solicit donations from their valued customers and business partners, as well as from employees, family and friends to make the project a success.

Doug Webb, CSi Complete president and vice president of the NABC, announced a goal of raising $10,000 for the camp through the marathon effort. "This is a great initiative for our industry and a worthy cause. We are going to do all we can to reach our goal, and beyond," he said.

Keller, who has previously completed two marathons, saw an opportunity to help the children and the industry while working on a goal of his own, running the 2003 Boston Marathon . Keller, 29, needs to run the 26 mile course in 3 hours, 10 minutes to qualify for Boston.

"The effort required to train and complete a marathon is probably far less than the effort put forth by children battling cancer. What an inspiration!," Keller said.
