M2 Launches Extranet for Insurance Partners
SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- M2 Collision Care Centers has launched the M2 Connection, www.m2connection.com, an extranet access point now available for strategic insurance partner claims personnel and agents to view the status of policyholder vehicles in M2 Collision Care facilities system wide.
"We are committed to developing user friendly formats that allow for quick and immediate access to critical customer information for our insurance partners," said Mark Fincher, Director of Information Technology. "The M2 Connection is phase one of a comprehensive Strategic Customer Information System that we are developing that will be built around a data warehouse which we project to launch before the end of the year."
The M2 Connection is a password-protected site that affords insurance professionals updated information on M2 Open Repair Orders and lists scheduled, in-process and completed activity. The extranet was designed to make it easier for claims personnel to work with M2 as well as giving agents more visibility to the status of their policyholders' vehicles during the repair process. The program is also being supported with a comprehensive multimedia tutorial.
Founded in 1996, M2 Automotive operates 31 service locations in California.
