IRVINE, Calif. -- Caliber Collision Centers, an Irvine-based operator of collision repair facilities in California and Texas, has appointed Ken Boylan as director of Technical Training.

Boylan will have the responsibility of designing, developing and delivering industry specific technical training, coordinating technical training offered by Caliber's preferred equipment and product providers and other industry training sources, and conducting customized onsite seminars and clinics for both employees, clients and providers.

"It's a pleasure to welcome Ken aboard the Caliber team," said Bill Lawrence, Caliber's president and chief operating officer. "With over 30 years experience in the collision repair industry, including 12 years as an I-CAR instructor, Ken will bring invaluable skills to our industry-best management team and will help us continue to expand our state-of-the-art curriculum while ensuring that our associates receive hands-on training through high-quality instruction."

Before joining Caliber, Boylan most recently owned Auto Collision Training Services, a Southern California-based training and consulting company that provided technical training services to the insurance industry as well as collision repair centers throughout Southern California. ACTS clients have included Auto Club of Southern California, Nationwide Insurance and State Farm Insurance.

Founded in 1991, with headquarters in Irvine, Caliber Collision Centers currently operates 62 facilities.
