Akzo Nobel Announces New Acoat Selected Educational Series: Names Elise Quadrozzi Acoat selected Manager of Accident Management Services

Akzo Nobel has announced the newest offering from its Acoat selected program, the Acoat selected Educational Series. According to Akzo Nobel Services Manager Mike Sillay, "We developed the Acoat selected Educational Series with several objectives in mind. First, we elicited feedback on our curriculum to determine what types of classes need to be offered. Second, we used that feedback to add new courses, revise existing classes and to restructure the curriculum into modules so shop employees could minimize the amount of time they spend away from their shops. Finally, we expanded our training base so more classes can be offered closer to our customers' locations so their travel time and cost can be minimized."

The new Acoat selected Educational Series is composed of eight new classes, which are:

  1. Collision Administrative Process
  2. Reducing Cycle Time
  3. Estimating Consistency
  4. Increasing Closing Ratios
  5. Fundamentals of Financial Management
  6. Financial Analysis Overview
  7. The Services Difference
  8. Business-to-Business Marketing

In other Acoat selected news, one of the many benefits of belonging to the Acoat selected program is being able to participate in the Acoat selected Benevolence Program. In its third year, the Acoat selected Benevolence Program is a community relations program. Its mission is to present refurbished cars to deserving individuals or organizations during the holiday season.

According to Mike Sillay, Akzo Nobel services manager, "Our goal with Acoat selected Benevolence Program is to generate good will at the local level while improving and promoting the image of the collision repair industry."

Akzo Nobel has named Elise Quadrozzi as manager of accident management services for the Acoat selected network.

From her 18 years of work experience with leading insurance companies, Quadrozzi brings to Akzo Nobel extensive knowledge of property and casualty claims management as well as a strong understanding of insurer and body shop relationships.

In her new role, Elise will work closely with the Acoat selected network of shops to establish strong relationships between these customers and their sources of business.
