Robert Pittenger Appointed Spies Hecker Training Manager

Spies Hecker has announced the expansion of its training department with the appointment of Bob Pittenger to Training Manager in their Plymouth training center.

As the Training Manager, Pittenger will be responsible for the development and coordination of all Spies Hecker training activities in the Plymouth, MI facility, including curriculum development and maintenance. He will report to Steffen Apollo, DuPont Performance Coatings Training Manager.

Pittenger has spent more than 20 years in the collision repair industry. He joined DuPont in 1989 as a technical representative and three years later moved to a sales position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Most recently, he has been responsible for all field training in the Chicago district.

Spies Hecker is a premium product brand within the DuPont Performance Coatings portfolio. In 2002, Spies Hecker will celebrate its 120 year anniversary.
