Sherwin-Williams Acquires Assets of Johnson Paints, Inc. of Ft. Myers, Florida

The Sherwin-Williams Company has announced it has acquired the assets of Johnson Paints, Inc. of Ft. Myers, Florida. Johnson Paints manufactures and sells paint and related products under the Flex Bon® brand through 24 company-owned stores and a dealer network located in south Florida, primarily on the southwest coast and in the Miami area.

Johnson Paints, Inc. was founded by Willis Johnson, John Johnson, Worth Johnson and Jerry Johnson in 1959 and has been providing professional painting contractors and other wholesale and retail customers with quality products and professional service since that time.

The Flex Bon® business will operate as a separate business unit of the Southeastern Division of the Paint Stores Group and will continue to produce and sell "the original Florida formula" Flex Bon® paints.
