Business Tools | Thursday April 4 Experian Automotive Launches Spanish AutoCheckExperian Automotive, a division of global information solutions provider Experian, has announced the launch of Spanish AutoCheck(SM), the automotive industry's first Spanish language vehicle history report. Spanish AutoCheck enables Spanish speaking consumers to quickly and accurately determine the value and history of used vehicles prior to making a purchase. Available online at www.autocheck.com/es, the AutoCheck report searches through Experian's National Vehicle database, the world's largest relational automotive database comprised of 16 billion records on more than 384 million vehicles providing consumers and dealers protection from hidden problems that affect an automobile's safety and value. "The more you know about a used vehicle, the better decision you can make about its value prior to purchasing it," said Ken Kauppila, executive vice president, Experian Automotive. "Spanish AutoCheck provides the 32 million Spanish-speaking people in the U.S. peace of mind by supplying the largest and most comprehensive vehicle history report system currently available." Spanish-speaking users now have instant Internet access to investigate and assess a used car or light-truck's history and value. By entering a vehicle identification number (VIN), consumers can check for vehicle specifications, odometer problems and other potential fraud issues. AutoCheck currently serves 376 auto auctions in the United States and Canada, including Manheim Auctions, ADESA Auctions and 95 percent of independent auto auctions. By putting used vehicles through an extensive and thorough evaluation, AutoCheck vehicle history reports increase consumer confidence and trust in used vehicle sales. Each week, more than 240,000 VINs are investigated with AutoCheck vehicle history reports. ©2002 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED INSIGHT Supports the NABC! |
