Akzo Nobel to Buy NOF Corp Coating Unit

Dutch chemical group Akzo Nobel NV has signed a contract to acquire the marine and aerospace coatings business of Japan's NOF Corporation for an undisclosed sum.

The business reported total sales of $30 milion in 2001, Akzo said in a statement.
