Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. Acquires Plastic Bumper Recycling Operation in Arizona

Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. has acquired the plastic bumper recycling operation of Arizona Plating & Anodizing Company, based in Phoenix, Arizona. The plastic recycling operation has annualized revenues of approximately $1.0 million. Terms were not disclosed.

"The acquisition of certain assets of Arizona Plating represents an opportunity to add OEM bumper recycling capabilities to our existing distribution business in this region," said Charles J. Hogarty, president and chief executive officer of Keystone.

He noted that Keystone currently has 36 other plastic bumper operations across the United States.

Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. distributes its products in the United States primarily to collision repair shops through its 115 distribution facilities, of which 21 serve as regional hubs.
