Business Tools | Thursday May 23 eAutoclaims Adds Car Rental Option to Auto Repair Claims Management SolutioneAutoclaims, a company that provides the insurance industry with online claims management solutions through both ASP and outsourcing solutions services, has launched a new car rental procurement offering within eJusterSuite(TM), its Application Service Provider (ASP) for streamlining repair claims for the automobile insurance industry. The new car rental application is already being implemented by Royal & SunAlliance USA -- one of the 25 largest property and casualty insurers in the U.S. -- which has recently completed the process of rolling it out to its material damage claims adjusting offices nationwide. eJusterSuite(TM), which integrates claims processing into one Web-based system that brings together multiple service partners, will now enable insurance adjusters and claims managers to search for and almost instantly secure a competitively priced rental car with providers like Alamo and Hertz, and to compile that information -- including reservation confirmation numbers -- along with other collision and claims details for their customers all during the initial phone call when the claim is filed. "We like the one-stop shopping it provides," said Robert Whelan, material damage peril support manager, Royal & SunAlliance USA. "eJusterSuite(TM) takes online rental solutions to the next level, eliminating redundancy in setting up and authorizing rentals for our customers and streamlining the process with a click of a mouse. "People feel enough stress after an accident, without having to worry about how they're going to get around -- or worry about their immediate transportation needs. Now, they can have everything taken care of by their adjuster in just one phone call." The eJusterSuite(TM) car rental application permits adjusters to take care of the entire process, from locating a body shop to securing a car rental, in just one step, and the ability to locate and pinpoint the best car rental rates in a given geographic area almost instantaneously can result in measurable savings over time. "The fact that Royal & SunAlliance, a leader in the insurance industry, had such success with our rental procurement offering after just two months of use, and recently completed the rollout to all of its automotive material damage claim offices nationwide, validates the application's effectiveness," says Reed Mattingly, Chief Operating Officer, eAutoclaims. "It reinforces eJusterSuite's(TM) value to both the industry and to consumers." When processing a claim, users of eJusterSuite(TM) access all of the requested information through one central repository, the adjusters eJuster's Claim Center. During this process, the adjuster remains within the eJuster's Claim Center and is able to continue to process the claim without launching additional browsers, making an additional phone call or using the fax machine. ©2002 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED INSIGHT Supports the NABC! |
