Business Tools | Tuesday July 16 Two More DuPont Automotive Courses Receive I-CAR ApprovalTwo more DuPont Automotive Finishes courses have been approved by I-CAR for inclusion in the Industry Training Alliance. The Alliance, formed by I-CAR in 2000, brings together technical training provides to optimize the training efforts of the collision industry. The courses are: Refinisher ChromaSystem Class, a three-day course for which the graduate is eligible to receive five I-CAR Gold Class Points, and Color Adjustment, a two-day course that qualifies for four Gold Class Points. Two other DuPont Automotive courses were previously approved by I-CAR for Gold Class Points. They are ChromaSystem Certification (two days, four points) and Color Adjustment/Tri-Coat Repair Certification (two days, three points). The points apply to both the Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual designations offered to refinish technicians by I-CAR.
