CCC Information Posts Profit on Cost Cuts
CCC Information Services Group Inc., the Chicago-based provider of software to help process auto insurance claims, has reported a second-quarter profit as it cut expenses.
CCC reported net income of $5.3 million, or 20 cents a share, compared with a loss of $18.5 million, or 85 cents a share, last year. Last year's results were hit by a $27.6 million loss on investments.
CCC Information said it expects to earn 70 to 74 cents a share for the full year, with operating performance in the second half approximating the first half's results.
