Safelite AutoGlass Earns ISO Certification for Enfield, NC Distribution Facility
Safelite AutoGlass, the national provider of auto glass replacement and repair services, has earned ISO certification for its Enfield, NC distribution center.
The company's distribution center processes 12,000 windshields a day, and is targeted to handle more than 2.8 million windshields this year. Safelite's national distribution center services the company's 80 warehouses with weekly deliveries to meet the needs of Safelite's retail operations as well as to support wholesale customers nationwide.
"We could not be more proud of the performance of our plant and warehousing teams," said Steve Micheli, Vice President of Manufacturing and Distribution for Safelite. "We are now four for four on ISO registrations in our manufacturing and distribution operations. We consider this proof of our commitment to continually improve the quality of our processes and our products."
Safelite also holds ISO 9002 certifications in their Wichita, KS and Enfield, NC manufacturing facilities, and in their Product Development Center.
