eAutoclaims Offers Web-Based Translation Tool to Converts Estimates Generated by Any Claims Software into HTML Estimates

eAutoclaims, Inc., a company that provides the insurance industry with online claims management solutions through both an Application Service Provider (ASP) and outsourcing solutions services, has launched a new application, eJusterTransfer(TM), which enables insurance companies and adjusters to modify and accept estimates originally produced in any of the major auto estimating software, generate full HTML reports and post them securely online.

Developed with the assistance of the company's network of independent appraisers and bodyshops, eJusterTransfer will take any file generated by any brand of automobile estimating software and translate it into binary files, which can then be displayed in an HTML format online.

Typically, insurance companies receiving estimates from independent appraisers face the frustration of receiving files in view-only formats, which prevents them from modifying data within the documents or generating reports. This is largely due to the fact that four different types of collision estimating software products are used in the auto insurance industry, all of which are written in distinct, proprietary languages. The files generated by the different software products are incompatible, requiring most insurers to invest in each of the estimating softwares or be limited to appraisal sources that run on the same estimating brand as the insurance carrier. In most cases, the insurance company settles for strictly an image of the estimate.

The new eJusterTransfer software aims to eliminate the need to subscribe to multiple estimating software brands and helps insurance companies, independent appraisers, staff appraisers, and bodyshops cut costs by allowing for the automatic uploading of an estimate from any of the estimating software brands. The quick translation into binary files promises to result in faster turnaround time and more efficient processing of claims -- reducing claims processing costs.

eJusterTransfer is a new addition to eAutoclaims' popular eJusterSuite(TM), which has been enthusiastically received and successfully implemented by insurance companies nationwide. The leading ASP for streamlining repair claims for the automobile insurance industry, eJusterSuite integrates claims processing into one Web-based system that brings together multiple service partners.

"eJusterTransfer will be connecting our 3400 body shops and our network of 1800 appraisers through binary uploads," stated Eric Seidel, CEO and president, eAutoclaims.

eJusterTransfer was developed with the assistance of many claims appraisers and bodyshops, who gave the product a "trial run" and offered valuable feedback. The online interface is remarkably simple to use and is extremely fast to transact. The complete application maps a path to the user's directory location where they store their estimates and administrative data, making it easy to locate and retrieve them at a later date. eJusterTransfer's upload site is simple to use and offers the highest level of Internet security.
