Business Tools | Friday August 23 Vision Automotive Training & Expo Opens Event to Collision IndustryThe Automotive Service Association of Missouri/Kansas will hold its 11th annual VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo February 21-23, 2003 at the new Overland Park Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. This new location has increased square footage that enables VISION to offer training and exhibits to the collision industry. Training will cover mechanical and collision courses, ranging basic to advanced levels. Management topics relating to personnel management, financial and customer service will also be offered. The schedule for management and technical training is being finalized and will be announced in September. This year’s training will also feature an all-day driveability clinic on Friday. The 2002 event hosted over 750 individuals registered for management and technical training from more than 12 states. The 60,000 square foot exhibit hall will host top suppliers to the automotive mechanical and collision industry. Currently more than half of the exhibit space has been sold and exhibit space is now open to new exhibitors. VISION has unveiled a new website for this year’s event. The event website includes information regarding the upcoming VISION event, including a schedule of events and exhibitor information. Once finalized, the website will also include the training schedule for both management and technical training. Obtain information at the Vision website.
