Automotive Recyclers Association Members to Buy Salvage Vehicles Through Planet Salvage's AuctionsNetwork
Planet Salvage has been selected as the online procurement solution provider for the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA). Planet Salvage is an online marketplace for both the automotive recycled parts and salvage vehicle industries. ARA, based in Fairfax, VA, is an International Trade Association that represents approximately 1,100 automotive recyclers and is dedicated to the removal and reuse of automotive parts.The agreement calls for Planet Salvage to provide AuctionsNetwork, their online vehicle auction and procurement solution, to ARA member companies so that ARA members will be able to purchase total loss/salvage vehicles directly from participating insurance companies.
"ARA is excited to be a part of this new program," said Phil Sheppard, ARA President. "We feel that it will give our members a leg up in the marketplace and enable them to ensure that they can obtain enough salvage vehicles to provide their customers with an adequate supply of quality, recycled parts."
