John M. McIntyre Named President of DriverShield

DriverShield Corp. has announced that John M. McIntyre, a longtime entrepreneur in the auto repair industry with significant experience in the property/casualty insurance industry as well, has been appointed President of DriverShield Corp. McIntyre has been a member of DriverShield's Board of Directors since October 2001.

Gerald M. Zutler, who has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since 1998, is assuming a new role as technical adviser to the Chairman and CEO, Barry Siegel.

McIntyre was a co-founding stockholder of a national insurance company and is the founder and owner of Apple Auto Body Incorporated located in Randolph, Massachusetts. He also founded and owned a real estate company in Hilton Head, South Carolina that managed over 100 properties and was sold in November 2001. He has served as a financial consultant to TeleSouth, a division of RHS Communications, since 1997. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration from Bentley College, Waltham, Massachusetts.

"Jack McIntyre brings us hands-on experience in many aspects of the businesses we're in, along with proven skills in launching and building new niche businesses," said Siegel. "He is a strong addition to our management team."

Commenting on Zutler's new assignment, Siegel said, "Gerry Zutler has played an important role in the evolution of the Company, bringing to bear his extensive, senior level experience in developing and managing complex, technically oriented businesses. In his new role, he will be able to focus his attention specifically on the technology underpinning our growing, Internet-based business with auto insurers."

Zutler joined the Company in 1998 after serving as president of Lockheed Martin Canada, where he expanded the company into a full service supplier of total systems solutions to domestic and international public agencies. Earlier, he was president of UNISYS Canada and founded a successful plastics distribution company.

DriverShield, founded in 1983, provides Internet-based collision repair and claims management services for auto insurance companies and offers automotive discounts and services programs to members of affinity groups, primarily through financial institutions and membership organizations.
