Earl Dohner to Serve as 2002 CARS Chairman
The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced that Earl Dohner, AAM, will be chairman of the 2002 Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS). Dohner, owner of E & E's Garage in Brookville, Ohio, will preside over the annual event Nov. 7-9 at the Tropicana Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.Dohner has served as a general director on the ASA National Board of Directors since April 2001. He has been an ASA member since 1986, and is currently serving his fifth year on ASA's Mechanical Division Operations Committee. Dohner has held several other leadership positions in ASA's local and state organizations, including president of the ASA-Ohio affiliate.
"I think it's quite an honor to be named chairman," Dohner said. "After the years of being in business and what ASA has done for me, I'm so glad to give part of that back to them.
"I believe it's going to be bigger than any one we've ever had and I hope we have a lot of new attendees who haven't been there before," Dohner said.
