Insurance Auto Auctions Opens Greenfield Facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., a provider of automotive salvage and claims processing services in the United States, has announced the opening of a greenfield facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This new 24-acre facility will serve both Southern and Central Louisiana and represents Insurance Auto Auctions' first branch in the state. IAA has seven branches in neighboring Texas.

"It's a great opportunity for IAA to enter a major market with the ability to immediately provide services to a significant customer. This should allow us to grow the business there much more quickly than a typical greenfield facility," said Tom O'Brien, Chief Executive Officer. "In addition, the new operating system has been successfully installed in the branch, allowing us to enhance our service offerings from day one."

Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., founded in 1982, currently has 66 sites across the United States.
