CCC Information Services Names Thomas Baird to Head Corporate and Business Development

Baird was previously vice president of new ventures and of corporate strategy and development for the Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a Dayton, Ohio-based provider of information technology to automotive retailers. He was responsible for investing in and developing new growth businesses as well as overall company strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he held corporate, business development and engineering positions at TRW Inc., its TRW Space and Electronics Group unit and Odyssey Telecommunications International.

"Tom brings extensive corporate development experience to CCC," said Githesh Ramamurthy, CCC's chairman and chief executive officer. "His leadership in this area will help CCC capitalize on opportunities that enable us to continue to deliver top-quality products to our customers."

Baird received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master's degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.

CCC Information Services Group Inc., headquartered in Chicago, supplies advanced software, communications systems, Internet, and wireless-enabled technology solutions to the automotive claims and collision repair industries.
