Copart Opens in Springfield, Missouri
Copart, Inc. has opened its second auction facility in the state of Missouri. With the addition of this 18-acre greenfield facility Copart now has 98 locations in 40 states."The new Missouri location is in the southeast section of Springfield along Interstate 60," said Willis J. Johnson, Copart's Chief Executive Officer. "The new facility will allow us to better serve our suppliers in the southern Missouri area. Previously this area was served by our Kansas City and St. Louis facilities which are over three hours away."
Since August 2001, Copart has added 14 locations including four MAG sites in New Castle, DE; Greencastle, PA; West Mifflin, PA and Richmond, VA and ten Copart salvage sites in Savannah, GA; Tifton, GA; Charleston, WV; Lyman, ME; Tucson, AZ; Somerville, NJ; Haslet, TX; Amarillo, TX; Reno, NV and Springfield, MO.
