ADP Launches Web-Based Estimate Auditing Tool for Automotive Claims

ADP Claims Services Group has announced the general availability of Claimsflo Passport version 3.0, the automotive claims industry's first web-based auditing tool. Passport version 3.0 audits 100 percent of estimates quickly based on customized rules so auditors can make better decisions faster to control costs.

Claims professionals use Passport version 3.0 online through ADP's Claims Gateway 2.0 to enable anytime, anywhere access to claims audit data.

"Passport 2.12 was a step in the right direction for auditing, and the new Passport 3.0 goes even further. The Internet access and improved performance in combination with the already significant rules engine allows me to get my job done faster -- whether I'm in the office or not," said Dave Plants, Direct Repair Shop Manager and Service Provider Liaison for Auto Club Group in Dearborn, Mich. "Add to that the new links to Claims Gateway with its estimates, optional photos, and Autosource reports and it's like having all of my claims folders with me wherever I go."

Passport version 3.0 features powerful data filters so claims professionals can pinpoint areas of concern in a specific claim or group of claims.

"Passport automates the time-consuming audit process for 100 percent of claims so auditors can use their time to contain claim costs rather than simply identifying leakage," said Phil Christin, Passport product manager for ADP Claims Services Group. "This web-based version allows claims professionals to identify chronic or potential problems quickly from the road or office and make cost-saving decisions."

Passport version 3.0 features for cost containment and ease of use include:

  • The only anytime, anywhere access to audit data available for automotive claims auditing, giving claims professionals flexibility, support for a distributed workforce and increased responsiveness
  • Optional access to claim photos, Autosource valuations and additional storage for Claims Gateway users
  • Single log-on to web-based ADP services through Claims Gateway to save time
  • Filtered claims information is displayed upon log-on to deliver the most important information first, reducing claims search time
  • Claims audit notes can be attached directly to the audit, ensuring all data is saved in one central location.

"Claims Gateway saves me time and effort. I log in one time and immediately have access to any estimate attachments -- photos, Autosource reports, summary sheets -- that I need," Plants said. "It's searchable, sortable and fast - and I can access it from just about anywhere."

Passport version 3.0 is an upgrade for current users of Passport version 2.12 and part of ADP's commitment to offer web-based, automated software to help insurers manage the claims process. ADP can set up new Passport users within two weeks, including customized rules engine.

Passport version 3.0 users must have Internet access, Claims Gateway, Internet Explorer 5.0 and Windows 98.
