VISION Hi-Tech Automotive Training and Expo Offers World of Opportunity Theme for 2003

"A World of Opportunity" is the theme for the upcoming 11th Annual VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo. The theme represents the wide array of opportunities available to shop owners, managers and technicians who explore new ideas, knowledge and information available through the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo. The 2003 event will be held February 21-23 at the new Overland Park Convention Center, located in Overland Park, Kansas, a metropolitan area of Kansas City. With over 750 attendees registered for the 2002 event for management and technical training, VISION has become one of the largest automotive training and expositions in the country. Sixteen states were represented by the 2002 conference attendees. VISION has expanded beyond a regional event and is quickly gaining national attention.

The 2003 VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo is expanding its reach in the automotive industry by adding the participation of collision industry to the event. The 2003 event will feature exhibitors and events in the exhibit hall as well as offering collision management and technical training. There is currently no other Midwest collision event of this size offering both a trade show and training.

The Automotive Service Association of Missouri / Kansas, hosts of the annual event, selected the Overland Park Convention Center facility to meet the growing needs of the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo event. The state-of-the-art Convention Center contains the area’s largest ballroom which will host each day’s Breakfast & General Session that is attended by over 800 individuals. Continuing education courses will be held in the Overland Park Convention Center as well as the adjoining Sheraton Hotel.

The 60,000 square foot exhibit hall will host the country’s top automotive suppliers to the automotive repair and collision industry. Expo hours will be Friday, February 21 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, February 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, February 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entrance to the Expo is free to individuals in the automotive industry. Pre-registration is recommended, however, not required.

The www.visionkc.com website is updated daily with new information as it becomes available, including a schedule of events, training, registration forms, and exhibitor information.

VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo is hosted and presented by the Automotive Service Association of Missouri / Kansas. ASA of Missouri / Kansas is a non-profit association serving the needs of the independent automotive repair industry throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas.
